Kansas City Christian School Panthers (Prairie Village, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Heritage Christian Academy Chargers (Olathe, KS), 66-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kansas City Christian School upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers host Barstow (Kansas City, MO) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Chargers play the Lyndon Tigers (Lyndon, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Heritage Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 68-37 league win over Central Heights (Richmond, KS).
