The Sutton/Douglas Sammies basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Hopedale Blue Raiders to 54 in the Sammies non-league victory on Friday.

The Sammies now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blackstone-Millville for a contest on Tuesday, January 23. Sutton/Douglas will battle a Chargers team coming off a 50-43 non-league win over Whitinsville Christian (Whitinsville, MA). The Chargers record now stands at 6-3.

The Blue Raiders (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Nipmuc Regional (Upton, MA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record.
