The Serra Padres basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Valley Christian Warriors to 24 in the Padres league victory on Friday.
The Padres now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Ignatius College Preparatory for a contest on Tuesday, January 23. Serra will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 48-45 league loss to Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
The Warriors (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Monarchs come into the contest with a 14-1 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Mitty prevailed over St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA), 48-45, in a league contest.
