Lathrop Spartans (Lathrop, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Los Banos Tigers (Los Banos, CA), 42-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Lathrop upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Spartans host Ceres (Ceres, CA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a bout on Monday, January 22. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Ceres lost 77-37 in their recent league bout against Mountain House (Mountain House, CA)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Grace Davis Spartans (Modesto, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Los Banos will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 80-29 league loss to Mountain House (Mountain House, CA).
