SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Westminster Catawba Christian Indians (Rock Hill, SC), 54-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, SouthLake Christian Academy upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The host Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-1. Gaston Christian won 44-42 in their recent league bout against Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Westminster Catawba Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 64-40 league loss to Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC).
