In Friday's non-league outing, the Sussex Central Tigers (Sussex, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Windsor Dukes (Windsor, VA), by a margin of 54-27.
The Tigers (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Surry County (Dendron, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 2-9 record. In their last outing, Surry County was trounced by Southampton (Courtland, VA), 31-26, in a non-league outing.
The Dukes now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to Nansemond River for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 20. Windsor will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 67-43 non-league win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-1.
