California High School Basketball - Weed overwhelms Trinity

January 19, 2024: Weed, CA 96094

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Weed Cougars (Weed, CA) and the visiting Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA), saw Weed's basketball squad wallop Trinity by a tally of 70-40.

With the victory, Weed improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Etna (Etna, CA) to confront the Lions in a challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 2-13. Etna lost 49-16 in their recent league challenge against Modoc (Alturas, CA)

Next up, the Wolves confront the Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Trinity will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 46-42 league loss to Etna (Etna, CA).
