In Friday's league battle, the visiting Berkeley Yellowjackets soccer squad scored a close 3-0 triumph over the Mt. Eden Monarchs.

The Yellowjackets (15-1) will now prepare for their battle against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA). The Highlanders come into the West Alameda County - Foothill battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Piedmont by Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Monarchs (3-12) will now prepare for their battle against Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA). The Trojans come into the West Alameda County - Foothill battle with a 5-2 record.
