The Owls now sport a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Seguin for a 5A Region 1 District 8 test on Tuesday, January 23. Joshua will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Cleburne (Cleburne, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Mansfield Timberview drops to 2-6 on the season. The Wolves host Midlothian (Midlothian, TX) to meet the Panthers in a 5A Region 1 District 8 test on Tuesday, January 23. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 6-2. Midlothian won 6-0 in their recent league test against Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX)
