The Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA) basketball felled the host Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA), 74-60 in Monday's league test.
The Borderites (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA). The Cubs go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Sedro-Woolley was beaten by Lynden (Lynden, WA), 80-26, in a league test.
The Pioneers now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lynden Christian for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Friday, January 6. Nooksack Valley will encounter a Lyncs squad coming off a 74-36 league win over Mt. Baker (Deming, WA). The Lyncs record now stands at 10-0.
