The Easton Bears (Easton, ME) basketball knocked off the visiting Central Aroostook Panthers (Mars Hill, ME), 68-52 in Monday's non-league test.
The Bears (7-0) will now prepare for their test against Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Hodgdon went down by Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME), 51-16, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Washburn for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 4. Central Aroostook will encounter a Beavers squad coming off a 101-27 league loss to Southern Aroostook (Dyer Brook, ME). The Beavers record now stands at 1-4.
