The Oakman Wildcats basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Curry Yellowjackets to 46 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.
The Wildcats now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fayette County for a 3A Area 10 contest on Thursday, January 5. Oakman will meet a Tigers team coming off a 80-38 non-league loss to Gardendale (Gardendale, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-11.
The Yellowjackets (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Winston County (Double Springs, AL). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Winston County triumphed over Hayden (Hayden, AL), 64-54, in a non-league contest.
