North Central Jets (Powers, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Norway Knights (Norway, MI), 63-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Central upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Jets travel to Stephenson (Stephenson, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Stephenson won 52-49 in their recent non-league bout against Carney-Nadeau (Carney, MI)

Next up, the Knights play the Forest Park Trojans (Crystal Falls, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Norway will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 60-53 non-league loss to Florence (Florence, WI).
