East Lawrence Eagles (Trinity, AL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Addison Bulldogs (Addison, AL), 56-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Lawrence upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Eagles host Lawrence County (Moulton, AL) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 7-3.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Addison will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 63-44 non-league win over North Jackson (Stevenson, AL).
