Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA), 70-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Quaker Valley upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Quakers travel to Beaver (Beaver, PA) to clash with the Bobcats in a WPIAL 4A 2 bout on Thursday, January 5. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Beaver lost 36-31 in their recent non-league bout against Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA)

Next up, the Bridgers clash with the Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 2 bout, on Monday, January 9. Ambridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
