In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Mountain Valley Falcons basketball team scored a good 43-34 triumph over the Dirigo Cougars.
In their next game, the Falcons meet the Buckfield Bucks (Buckfield, ME) in a C South match, on Friday, January 6. Mountain Valley will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.
With the defeat, Dirigo moves to 3-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Mount Abram (Strong, ME) to meet the Roadrunners in a C South match on Wednesday, January 4. The Roadrunners enter the match with a record of 1-3. Mount Abram lost 78-39 in their recent league match against Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME)
