The Lindsay Knights basketball team (Lindsay, TX), was overwhelmed 65-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Alvord Bulldogs (Alvord, TX)
The Bulldogs now possess a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Collinsville for a 2A Region II District 13 battle on Friday, January 5. Alvord will battle a Pirates team coming off a 54-46 league win over Tioga (Tioga, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 5-7.
The Knights (4-13) will now prepare for their battle against Muenster (Muenster, TX). The Hornets come into the 2A Region II District 13 battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Muenster was overwhelmed by Grapevine Faith Christian (Grapevine, TX), 52-42, in a non-league battle.
