In Tuesday's league outing, the Lakewood Cougars (Arlington, WA) basketball squad felled the visiting Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA), by a margin of 63-55.
The Cougars (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Sehome (Bellingham, WA). The Mariners go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Sehome thwarted Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA), 67-57, in a league outing.
The Seahawks now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Squalicum for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing on Thursday, January 4. Anacortes will clash with a Storm squad coming off a 61-58 league loss to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Storm record now stands at 4-7.
