Archbishop Riordan Crusaders (San Francisco, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA), 88-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Archbishop Riordan upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Crusaders host St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA) to clash with the Wildcats in a West Catholic bout on Thursday, January 4. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 9-1. St. Ignatius College Preparatory won 79-68 in their recent non-league bout against University (San Francisco, CA)

Next up, the Lancers clash with the Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA) in a West Catholic bout, on Thursday, January 4. Saint Francis will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 61-58 non-league loss to Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA).
