The Argenta-Oreana Bombers basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Central A & M Raiders to 42 in the Bombers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bombers now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arcola for a Lincoln Prairie contest on Friday, January 5. Argenta-Oreana will battle a Purple Riders team coming off a 62-56 non-league win over Grayville (Grayville, IL). The Purple Riders record now stands at 10-5.

The Raiders (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Meridian (Macon, IL). The Hawks enter the Central Illinois contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Meridian was defeated by Nokomis (Nokomis, IL), 66-60, in a non-league contest.
