The Arp Tigers (Arp, TX) basketball nipped the visiting West Rusk Raiders (New London, TX), 65-58 in Tuesday's league test.
The Tigers (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Jefferson (Jefferson, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region II District 16 test with a 15-4 record.
The Raiders now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson for a 3A Region II District 16 test on Friday, January 5. West Rusk will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 61-45 league win over Waskom (Waskom, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-4.
