The Asbury Rams (Albertville, AL) basketball knocked off the host West End Patriots (Walnut Grove, AL), 41-29 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Rams (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Plainview (Rainsville, AL). The Bears go into the 3A Area 14 test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Plainview notched a victory over Covenant Christian (Tuscumbia, AL), 61-54, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Decatur Heritage Christian Academy for a 2A Area 13 test on Friday, January 5. West End will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 48-39 non-league loss to Shoals Christian (Florence, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-7.
