The White Castle Bulldogs basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Assumption Mustangs to 30 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dutchtown for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. White Castle will battle a Griffins team coming off a 62-16 non-league win over West St. John (Edgard, LA). The Griffins record now stands at 11-8.

The Mustangs (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Bonnabel (Kenner, LA). The Bruins come into the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Bonnabel triumphed over South Plaquemines (Buras, LA), 76-28, in a non-league contest.
