The Berlin Mountaineers basketball team (Berlin, NH), was overwhelmed 57-23 in Tuesday's league battle with the host White Mountains Spartans (Whitefield, NH)
The Spartans now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilford for a Division III battle on Friday, January 5. White Mountains will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 45-39 league loss to St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
The Mountaineers (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Groveton (Groveton, NH). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Groveton was overwhelmed by Moultonborough Academy (Moultonborough, NH), 44-41, in a league battle.
