The Wilkinson County Wildcats basketball team (Woodville, MS), was overwhelmed 80-37 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Bogue Chitto Bobcats (Bogue Chitto, MS)
The Bobcats now possess a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Lincoln for a 2A Region 7 battle on Friday, January 5. Bogue Chitto will confront a Bears team coming off a 72-37 league loss to Loyd Star (Brookhaven, MS). The Bears record now stands at 5-8.
The Wildcats (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Amite County (Liberty, MS). The Trojans come into the 2A Region 7 battle with a 2-11 record. In their last battle, Amite County was overwhelmed by Natchez (Natchez, MS), 56-51, in a non-league battle.
