Iowa High School Basketball - Carroll victorious over Boone

The Carroll Tigers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Boone Toreadors to 52 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carlisle for a Raccoon River contest on Friday, January 5. Carroll will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 74-50 league loss to A-D-M (Adel, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-7.
The Toreadors (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Gilbert (Gilbert, IA). The Tigers enter the Raccoon River contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Gilbert was defeated by Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA), 74-70, in a league contest.
