In Tuesday's league outing, the Bradley Bears (Bradley, AR) basketball squad felled the host Lafayette County Cougars (Stamps, AR), by a margin of 69-57.
The Bears (16-1) will now prepare for their outing against Kirby (Kirby, AR). The Trojans go into the 1A Region 7 outing with a 16-6 record. In their last match, Kirby overcame Glen Rose (Malvern, AR), 62-29, in a non-league match.
With the defeat, Lafayette County moves to 7-6 on the year. The Cougars travel to Blevins (Blevins, AR) to meet the Hornets in a 1A Region 7 match on Thursday, January 4. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 6-12.
