The Colonels now possess a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shades Valley for a 6A Area 10 battle on Friday, January 5. Woodlawn will confront a Mounties team coming off a 51-45 non-league loss to Paul W. Bryant (Cottondale, AL). The Mounties record now stands at 10-8.

The Lions (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Pelham (Pelham, AL). The Panthers come into the 6A Area 8 battle with a 18-4 record. In their last battle, Pelham edged Minor (Adamsville, AL), 49-48, in a non-league battle.
