The La Grange Leopards basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Caldwell Hornets to 51 in the Leopards league victory on Tuesday.

The Leopards now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Austin Achieve for a 4A Region III District 22 contest on Friday, January 5. La Grange will battle a Polar Bears team coming off a 92-27 league loss to Manor New Tech (Manor, TX). The Polar Bears record now stands at 3-11.

The Hornets (10-14) will now prepare for their contest against Manor New Tech (Manor, TX). The come into the 4A Region III District 22 contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Manor New Tech edged Austin Achieve (Austin, TX), 92-27, in a league contest.
