The Excelsior Springs Tigers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Cameron Dragons to 51 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Truman for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9.
The Dragons (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Savannah (Savannah, MO). The Savages enter the Midland Empire contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Savannah was nudged by Bishop LeBlond (St. Joseph, MO), 45-33, in a league contest.
