With the victory, Clarke Central upgrades its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Heritage (Conyers, GA) to play the Patriots in a AAAAA Region 8 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Heritage lost 69-68 in their recent non-league challenge against Loganville (Loganville, GA)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) in a AAAAA Region 8 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Loganville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 52-50 league loss to Eastside (Covington, GA).
