With the victory, Clarke County upgrades its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Blacksher (Uriah, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Area 1 challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Blacksher lost 68-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Excel (Excel, AL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Chickasaw Chieftains (Chickasaw, AL) in a 2A Area 1 challenge, on Friday, January 5. St. Luke's Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 55-33 non-league loss to Robertsdale (Robertsdale, AL).
