The Midlothian Heritage Jaguars basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Cleburne Yellowjackets to 56 in the Jaguars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Jaguars now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joshua for a 5A Region I District 8 contest on Friday, January 5. Midlothian Heritage will battle a Owls team coming off a 66-56 league loss to Centennial (Burleson, TX). The Owls record now stands at 5-12.

The Yellowjackets (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX). The Wolves enter the 5A Region I District 8 contest with a 18-6 record. In their last contest, Mansfield Timberview nudged Seguin (Arlington, TX), 47-43, in a league contest.
