The KACHEA Wildcats basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Cloudland Highlanders to 38 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jenkins for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6.
The Highlanders (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Unaka (Elizabethton, TN). The Rangers enter the 1A District 1 contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Unaka was nudged by Happy Valley (Elizabethton, TN), 73-70, in a non-league contest.
