The Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT) basketball nipped the host Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT), 48-46 in Tuesday's league test.

The Blue Devils (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT). The Wildcats go into the Shoreline test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Old Lyme got by Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT), 74-46, in a league test.

The Noises now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Westbrook for a Shoreline test on Friday, January 5. Hale Ray will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 73-35 league loss to Portland (Portland, CT). The Knights record now stands at 1-5.
