The Cony Rams basketball team (Augusta, ME), was overwhelmed 75-47 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Messalonskee Eagles (Oakland, ME)
The Eagles now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brewer for a A North battle on Saturday, January 6. Messalonskee will confront a Witches team coming off a 58-51 league win over Lawrence (Fairfield, ME). The Witches record now stands at 4-3.
The Rams (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Nokomis (Newport, ME). The Warriors come into the A North battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Nokomis trounced Gardiner (Gardiner, ME), 65-59, in a league battle.
