Coram Deo Academy Lions (Plano, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Dallas Lutheran Lions (Dallas, TX), 52-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Coram Deo Academy upgrades its record to 1-13 on the season. The Lions host Lucas Christian Academy (Lucas, TX) to clash with the Warriors in a TAPPS 3A District 2 bout on Friday, January 5. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Lucas Christian Academy won 74-33 in their recent league bout against Cornerstone Christian Academy (McKinney, TX)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Bishop Gorman Crusaders (Tyler, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 2 bout, on Friday, January 5. Dallas Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 18-4 record after their 72-38 league win over North Dallas Adventist Academy (Richardson, TX).
