Texas High School Basketball - Cy-Fair topped by Cypress Falls

The Cypress Falls Eagles basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Cy-Fair Bobcats to 48 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Springs for a 6A Region II District 16 contest on Saturday, January 6. Cypress Falls will battle a Panthers team coming off a 71-57 non-league loss to Episcopal (Bellaire, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 16-6.
The Bobcats (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Woods (Houston, TX). The Tigers come into the 6A Region III District 17 contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Spring Woods dropped by Del Valle (Del Valle, TX), 59-47, in a non-league contest.
