With the victory, Tatum upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Waskom (Waskom, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region II District 16 bout on Friday, January 5. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 7-15. Waskom lost 61-45 in their recent league bout against Jefferson (Jefferson, TX)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Troup Tigers (Troup, TX) in a 3A Region II District 16 bout, on Friday, January 5. Elysian Fields will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 17-4 record after their 40-30 non-league win over All Saints Episcopal (Tyler, TX).
