The Goodhue Wildcats basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the host Fillmore Central Falcons to 78 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Byron for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Goodhue will battle a Bears team coming off a 71-56 non-league win over Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN). The Bears record now stands at 5-2.

The Falcons (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Triton (Dodge Center, MN). The Cobras come into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Triton edged Alden-Conger (Alden, MN), 79-61, in a non-league contest.
