With the victory, Flatonia improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Shiner (Shiner, TX) to play the Comanches in a 2A Region IV District 28 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Comanches come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Shiner won 67-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Prairie Lea (Prairie Lea, TX)

Next up, the Indians play the Moulton Bobkatz (Moulton, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 30 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Prairie Lea will attempt to improve on its 1-16 season record. The Bobkatz come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 38-28 non-league win over White Oak (White Oak, TX).
