In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA), by a margin of 81-48.

The Indians (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Riverheads (Staunton, VA). The Gladiators go into the Shenandoah outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Riverheads was trounced by Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA), 63-51, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Spotswood for a Valley outing on Friday, January 5. Rockbridge County will encounter a Trailblazers squad coming off a 71-44 league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 10-0.
