The Miami Warriors basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Fort Elliott Cougars to 38 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McLean for a 1A Region I District 1 contest on Tuesday, January 9.

The Cougars (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Follett (Follett, TX). The Panthers enter the 1A Region I District 1 contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Follett triumphed over Kelton (Wheeler, TX), 52-26, in a league contest.
