Alabama High School Basketball - Fyffe overwhelmed by Section

The Section Lions basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Fyffe Red Devils to 33 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Sand Mountain for a 2A Area 15 contest on Friday, January 5. Section will battle a Bison team coming off a 88-51 non-league win over Sylvania (Sylvania, AL). The Bison record now stands at 9-8.
The Red Devils (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Gaston (Gadsden, AL). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Area 12 contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Gaston triumphed over Coosa Christian (Gadsden, AL), 53-33, in a non-league contest.
