In Tuesday's league outing, the Providence Christian Academy LIONS (Murfreesboro, TN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Grace Christian Academy Lions (Franklin, TN), by a count of 62-29.

The LIONS (12-2) will now prepare for their outing against Middle Tennessee Christian (Murfreesboro, TN). The Cougars go into the Division II-A Middle District 3 outing with a 1-11 record. In their last outing, Middle Tennessee Christian was crushed by Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR), 75-45, in a non-league outing.

The Lions now hold a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to University School of Nashville for a Division II-A Middle District 3 outing on Friday, January 5. Grace Christian Academy will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 57-40 non-league loss to Clarksville Academy (Clarksville, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 5-8.
