Nebraska High School Basketball - Southwest tipped by Hitchcock County

In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Hitchcock County Falcons basketball team scored a tight 65-60 triumph over the Southwest Roughriders.

In their next game, the Falcons meet the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos (Wauneta, NE) in a D1 District 10 match, on Friday, January 5. Hitchcock County will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Broncos enter the match with a 0-8 record after their 64-24 league loss to Dundy County-Stratton (Benkelman, NE).

With the defeat, Southwest moves to 3-7 on the year. The Roughriders host Cambridge (Cambridge, NE) to meet the Trojans in a non-league match on Friday, January 5. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 7-4. Cambridge lost 40-32 in their recent non-league match against Norton (Norton, KS)
