Alabama High School Basketball - Monroe County tipped by Jackson

The Jackson Aggies basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Monroe County Tigers to 63 in the Aggies non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Aggies now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leroy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Jackson will meet a Bears team coming off a 91-20 league win over Fruitdale (Fruitdale, AL). The Bears record now stands at 2-5.

The Tigers (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Wilcox Central (Camden, AL). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Wilcox Central was nudged by Georgiana (Georgiana, AL), 64-55, in a non-league contest.
