Oregon High School Basketball - Jefferson can't hold off Scio

The Scio Loggers basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Jefferson Lions to 50 in the Loggers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Loggers now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amity for a 3A PacWest contest on Friday, January 5. Scio will battle a Warriors team coming off a 59-35 non-league loss to Philomath (Philomath, OR). The Warriors record now stands at 5-7.
The Lions (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sheridan (Sheridan, OR). The Spartans enter the 3A PacWest contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Sheridan nudged Santiam Christian (Corvallis, OR), 60-44, in a league contest.
