North Carolina High School Basketball - Southeast Alamance nipped by Jordan-Matthews

January 2, 2024: Siler City, NC 27344

The Jordan-Matthews Jets tipped the visiting Southeast Alamance Stallions basketball team by a final score of 70-66 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Jets face the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 5. Jordan-Matthews will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the game with a 4-7 record after their 66-63 non-league loss to Apex Friendship (Apex, NC).

With the defeat, Southeast Alamance moves to 4-7 on the year. The Stallions host Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC) to face the Buccaneers in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina game on Friday, January 5. The Buccaneers enter the game with a record of 3-6. Bartlett Yancey lost 83-56 in their recent non-league game against Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC)
