The J.P. Stevens Hawks basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting South Brunswick Vikings to 58 in the Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hawks now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Old Bridge for a Greater Middlesex - Red contest on Thursday, January 4. J.P. Stevens will meet a Knights team coming off a 58-40 non-league loss to Colonia (Colonia, NJ). The Knights record now stands at 4-5.
The Vikings (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph (Metuchen, NJ). The Falcons enter the Greater Middlesex - Red contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph was nudged by Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ), 70-60, in a non-league contest.
